2010. A little ACEO-sized pen and white pencil drawing on some chipboard.
I'd been inspired in part by all the prehistoric creature reference books I'd been reading/researching in preparation for a prehistoric-themed art show. I would like to make this into a full-color painting, maybe with him as a white lion. I think there is something in WoW that looks like this, but he's not based on that; this is one of my very old creations. He's sort of a sabertoothed lion, though often he looks like a tiger with a lion's mane, with or without the stripes. Back in college in the early 90's I'd drawn him on the back of a spiral notebook, and the chipboard's color and texture reminded me of that cardboard back cover, so here he is, in 2010 form.
