Ebony Tigress Badge

Ebony Tigress (such a sweetheart!) and Budgie Bird! This is a fledgling effort with acrylic (which I haven't used since, oh, 1992, maybe). I never had luck with it, but practice makes perfect, right? I hate my hand lettering, so I scanned it in and added type in Illustrator.

Sorry if it looks messy blown up - I worked at actual size for this. I can draw small with pencil, but my hand tends to shake with pen. And there was no way I could draw little parakeet feathers that small! I had enough work keeping the feet from being even blobbier. Still, it was a good challenge.

Acrylic, Micron pen, metallic paint pens on parchment-y cardstock. Name added in Illustrator 10. 2006.
